Due to the constant coupon searching, I found myself having to take a visit to my local staples for more printer ink.  I decided this would be the perfect opportunity to learn a few things about the store.

First - if you bring in empty ink cartridges (Lexmark, HP, Dell, Kodak, Brother, Cannon, Epson), Staples will give you $2 in Staples rewards per cartridge.  Also, if you have a rewards card, you will get 10% off each new ink cartridge purchase. 

Note:  Apparently, the $2 per cartridge will arrive later (it's not immediately deducted).  You can recycle up to 10 cartridges per month.

Second - Staples does accept manufacturer AND my local store stated that they accept competitor's coupons!
